Chief Executive Officer: Patrick O’Neill
|
|
Patrick O’Neill took over the role of Chief Executive Officer
in July 2002. As the Chief Executive Officer, Patrick is responsible for the overall
operation of the Village. He reports to the Board of Directors, while all managers
report to him. Patrick has been a registered nurse for thirty years. His
educational background also includes labour relations, mental health, and administration.
He is a Certified Administrator through OANHSS (Ontario Association of Non-Profit
Homes and Services for Seniors). Prior to coming to Ina Grafton, he was employed
at the Region of Niagara in various capacities, including Director of Care, administration, and labour relations. Patrick sits on the Board of Directors for Niagara Regional Housing and OCSA (Ontario Community Support Association). He is very active in both community and professional organizations.
He has coached soccer, minor hockey, minor basketball, and lacrosse. He is a dedicated
runner and an active member of the St. Catharines Road Runners running club.
He has participated in over 20 marathons and ultra marathons, including the Boston marathon.

Director
of Resident Care: Jane Schram |
|
Jane Schram joined the Ina Grafton team as Director of Resident Care
in January 2003. As the Director of Resident Care, Jane is responsible for the
provision of 24-hour services to residents in Long-Term Care, for the supervision
of staff in this area, and for Activation/Programs. She is also responsible for
clinics and services provided to the Village. The role
of Infection Control Officer and Education Coordinator for staff and residents
of the Village also falls under the direction of the Director of Resident Care.
Jane has been a Registered Nurse since 1985 and has
worked in Long-Term Care since 1993. Prior to working in Long-Term Care, her nursing background
included experience in a variety of areas, including medical, surgical, emergency,
and rehabilitation. Her interests include all sports, especially hockey, baseball, soccer,
and basketball. Jane's hobbies include needlepoint, crossword puzzles, and singing.

| Manager,
Finance/Volunteers: Sherry Towers |
|
Sherry Towers began her employment with Ina Grafton in
October 1991 amidst the construction of what is now "B" Building. Over the years
and through continuing education in accounting and computer training, her position and responsibilities
have evolved to that of Manager, Finance/Volunteers. She is responsible for all financial activities and reporting, the maintenance of all telephone and computer systems, and the maintenance of all current and past financial, staff, and resident records. The Volunteer Program also fall under her direction.
In her spare time, Sherry enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

| Manager, Food and Environmental Services: Jerry Boichuk
|
|
Jerry Boichuk's career at Ina Grafton began in the early 1990's when, as a consultant,
he provided services to our Food Services Department. He is now
the Manager, Food
and Environmental Services, and is responsible for the dining, catering, and Satellite Meal Service programs. Jerry is a papered chef with a certificate
in Food Service Supervision. As well, he is a professional member of the CSNM (Canadian Society of Nutritional
Management). Jerry has completed the OANHSS (Ontario Association of Non-Profit Homes and Services for Seniors) Administrator Certification Program for Long-Term Care. He is also responsible for the overall management of the Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry Departments. Jerry has spent
many years providing volunteer help to various organizations, including the Niagara
District Education Council where he has mentored difficult teens.

Assistant Manager, Environmental Services: Nathan Warden
|
Nathan’s career at Ina Grafton began in November 2000 when he worked as a casual in the Dietary, Maintenance, and Custodial departments. In March 2002, Nathan joined the Maintenance Department. In March 2008, he became Assistant Manager, Environmental Services and is responsible for maintaining the facility in both Maintenance and Custodial capacities on a day-to-day basis. Nathan has a BA in General Studies with a concentration in Sociology from Brock University, and has also completed courses in Fire Safety and Emergency Management. He enjoys hockey, basketball, football, and baseball, and coaches Junior and Senior Boys High School Basketball. Nathan’s hobbies include reading, playing sports, enjoying the great outdoors, and spending time with his wife, two sons, dog, and cat.

Assistant
Manager, Supportive Housing Services: Elizabeth Medland |
|
Elizabeth Medland became a member of the Ina Grafton team in January 2004 as Assistant
Manager, Supportive Housing. Her education and previous experience
in the health care field make her a perfect fit with the rest of the team. Elizabeth
enjoys running, Bridge, shopping, music, and reading.
